  William White owned a great deal of land. On August 30, 1853, a few months before his marriage there is a record of his purchasing 342 acers. Sixty-two of these acres were purchased from John E. Winslow. This particular track joined the lands of Osmund White, Nicholas Roundtree and the heirs of Frances White. Two hundred eighty acres joined the lands of the Lope Stallings, the Littlehorn lands, the Collins lands, William Hinton [1]
